I just wanted to draw Pinkie with long hair <D She's my favorite pony.
After Pokey got taken by Tambelon and her mane got straight, it became quite difficult to keep long hair like that, so she had to cut them off. Marshall really loved her long hair.
Fun facts:
-When Pickaxe and Marshall were little Pinkie used to carry them in her hair.
-That soft gadient on her mane was left by her rainbow power.
