Artist's Description
Since Dragons have thicker bodies and have scales,I had the thought that the light from their fire doesn't show through them easily. But with ponies, they have thin layers of flesh so the fire shows from underneath when they breath it, or are about to.
Claudis- when hissing, the light is very dull
Lady- Breathing fire, the light glows bright
Daniel- when agitated or provoked, their body temperature rises as the fire builds up
