Bright Burst is the son of Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry. Just like his mother and Moonflower's mother, he was accepted into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. He had potential, but then he started to become power-hungry, hoping that one day he would be the first Alicorn prince in Equestria. However, Princess Celestia began to notice his behavior changing and kicked him out of her school, just like she did Sunset Shimmer. So, in his rage, this is rather dark, he fired a strong blast at Celestia and Luna, resulting in their deaths. Just like Sunset Shimmer, Bright Burst escaped through the Crystal Mirror and started taking over Canterlot High School. Unlike Sunset Shimmer, he vowed revenge on Moonflower after she defeated him. He still remains a villain to this day.
