After watching the MLP movie in 2017, I enjoyed it. But months later I always found some of the scenes difficult to watch. And what I’m talking about is when Twilight almost steals the pearl in Seaquestria. Now don’t give me wrong, I understand why she did that but even after the Storm King is defeated we don’t get a scene of Twilight apologizing to Queen Novo.

Queen Novo may have every right to banish the Twilight and her friends but an offscreen apology is just forced. Why? Because they did this from time to time in the show and in my opinion it’s redundant. Sure they do apologies but for the majority, it’s always off screen. I think showing an apology is important because the hippogriffs are the only creatures who made a return in season 8 after the movie ended.

The biggest reason why this is an issue is because in the comics it turns out that Twilight and Queen Novo are friends. Now that’s okay since they’re both rulers but again moving on without an apology makes it forced. Queen Novo is one of my favorite characters in the MLP movie and it’s a shame she doesn’t get a lot of screen time.

I think their relationship should be developed because Queen can see Twilight as a respectful princess. I know it’s not going to happen but at the same time it would be nice to see Queen Novo return for one episode. Comment down below on what you think and please be nice.

P.S. Twilight stealing the pearl almost ruined the One Small Thing (I’m just saying).
