Novo brought a surprise with her. She spoke of a dragon friend of hers (and Tia and Luna’s) who’d been attacked by a rival dragon. She’d been killed and her nest ransacked. Only one egg survived.
Twilight, after getting over her shock at meeting the immortal guardian of the hippogriffs, felt some sort of connection to the little purple egg.
