Guess whose turn it is to ( finally) have their own offspring! Watch out Flurry heart, some new royals are coming to town!


1. Twilight, being the over-planning, organized purple alicorn that she started preparing for her new foal as soon as she found she was pregnant ( which wasn’t long after she got married). She was almost done with it all when she went in for her three month check up, only to find out from the ultrasound result that she was carrying twins! Now all the months of planning schedules and stocking up on diapers had to be re-done and doubled. Just goes to show you can’t prepare for everything Twily.

2. I know that on screen, Cadance was shown to have a flawless pregnancy ( even if her giving labor was a little rough). It was not the same for Twily. For most of the pregnancy, she suffered from erratic moments of morning sickness, often accompanied by impulsive bursts of magic that could range anywhere from just a fizzle or slight a slightly destructive light bolt, to teleporting furniture that wasn’t even theirs to any random place. It was a very stressful time for everyone.

3. When Twilight wasn’t buried underneath everybook ever written about pregnancy or trying not to explode the kitchen, she enjoyed soft, sweet moments like this one. Pansy was all too excited to meet her new baby siblings and would hang around Twilight, ready to read her siblings a story or to tell them about her day. But sometimes, she just wanted feel them moving and alive ( for the 45th time that week). Not that Twilight minded, she loved seeing Pansy already practicing being a big sister before she even was one.
