- Sky Vox is the only son of Toe Tapper and Torch Song and brother to twin sister, Lyric Forte.

- Despite his parents being in the Ponytones and being raised around the a-capella group, Sky does not show any interest in singing or harmonizing in any way. Torch Song has tried to offer him lessons, but he just doesnt have the vocal talents his parents have; So he avoids singing. Instead, found ways to help his family in other ways besides singing with them. Sky had an early interest in technology; Specifically in stereos and surround sound. Sky rigged stereos up around the stadium and was able to create flawless surround sound for his parents and the rest of the Ponytone's performances; So even the ponies way in the back could hear their harmonies as if they were sitting in the front row. On that night, Sky Vox earned his cutie mark, and decided to designate his life to being a sound tech.. And grew up to become an Audio Engineer. Sky continues to do sound work for the Ponytones, but he also works for larger sensations such as Songbird Serenade and Coloratura; Which was how he met one of his closest friends, Tessitura.

- Sky Vox, for most of his life, never told anypony he was gay. He wasnt in the closet, or ashamed of who he was; he just figured: If nopony asks, theres no reason to tell anypony. He knew who he was already.. Even his parents knew, without Sky ever having to tell them. It was just something they all knew. However, due to this, Sky was often woo'd by young mares and seen as a heart throb due to him turning them down every time. It wasn't until Sky met a certain pony by the name of Panache Flair that every other pony finally realized he was gay. Sky fell for Panache almost immediately, and thought he was the cutest, purest guy and needed to get to know him better. After a few dates, it was very evident that he wanted that relationship to last. And even though mares will still swoon over Sky from time to time, he now puts them straight and shows off his adorable coltfriend instead of saying nothing.

- Sky still cant sing for the life of him, but oddly enough, Panache can sing very well; He's just too shy to do anything with it and has no interest in persueing it. Instead, Sky gives Panache the confidence to sing to his flowers, and help them grow.

- Unlike Sky, his sister Lyric DOES like music, just not the a capella kind as their parents. Instead, she takes more towards the pop side; with Sky and her best friend Tessitura. Tessi and Lyric team up a lot, and even though Tessitura is a lot more popular than Lyric, Tessi does her best to include her friend in duet numbers whenever she hires Sky to do the sound for her shows. (And Tenor Star's shows too, but Sky and Lyric get along better with Tessitura)

- Due to his connections, Sky gets Panache VIP tickets to Tenstar and Tessituras' performances whenever he wants. (Panache is a fan of Tenstar more, but he knows Tessi is a close friend, so he still attends her concerts too)
