According to Vozonid mythology, gryphons represent a kind of spirit that protects people from evil, something like a guardian angel figure.
Here are Gabby and Gilda the gryphons, as angels: Gabby as a friendly angel of peace, and Gilda as a ferocious angel of war.
The scripts in the bottom all translate to "Gabby and Gilda". They are:
Sarmelonid: "Gabbijaz ta Gildaz"
Gauvajut: "Ga-b-bi-i i-s Gi-l-da."
Brahmi (used for Sanskrit long ago): "Ga-bbi Gi-lda-ca"
