Pie-and-Beer Day is a holiday in Patch's hometown. July 24 is the anniversary of when Equalist pioneers arrived in the Salt Lick Valley and declared this was the place they were going to settle down.
It is said that the day is celebrated in two other places: Fillynois, because that's where the pioneers left, and Californeigh, which is where they wanted to go.
