Diamond Tiara has never been known as a character that had to be written with much attention to development or complexity. A crude comment here, a bad pun there, a cartoonishly vapid understanding of reality to warrant the emergence of a moral at the end of the episode. That was all you really needed. But if you're going to make a series about Diamond Tiara's emotional growth, that growth requires something a little deeper. Everyone has their limits. Sometimes we discover parts of ourselves we just need to throw away.
