Sweetie Belle grew up with her parents and older sister, Rarity, in Ponyville. As a child, she was eager to know what her cutie mark would be and tagged along with two other ponies, Applebloom and Scootaloo, to find their destinies as the "Cutie Mark Crusaders." After earning their cutie marks, the CMC have devoted their lives to helping other ponies learn what their special talents are. Sweetie Belle is a talented singer and actress. With Rarity having moved off to Canterlot to run her own fashion business, the old Carousel Boutique has now been transformed into the Carousel Theater where Sweetie Belle teaches drama classes. When not teaching at the theater, she can be found teaching classes with Applebloom and Scootaloo at Twilight Sparkle's School of Friendship. While they are good at helping ponies discover their talents, they also help the non-pony creatures figure out what they are best at doing even though they can't get cutie marks. Although once a club of three friends, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are now a large non-profit organization that spreads across Equestria with Sweetie Belle and her two friends as the leaders.
