Sometimes, when I see the toy-rivalry between Transformers and My Little Pony, I could not help but think of them as though it's more like a cosmic battle. If it is a battle between two Celestial civilisations — one mechanical and divisive, and one magical and subversive — it would be worth a tale for the (s)ages.
G1 for Transformers and G4 for Ponies were chosen because I consider them to be good representatives of each faction.
