All I want for the new year is an episode with Tempest where she's happy with friends. Or, you know, an episode, any episode, with her in it? Please, Hasbro.

Until then, I'll just have to draw it myself. Oh, look, it's Tempest, being happy with her friends. Her talent for explosions might not be a very popular normally, but when it comes to celebrations where fireworks are common, she's the most popular pony around. You never have to buy any, she can just make as many as you like with magic! The others made sure to stand back a bit when she was firing, but quickly grouped around her cheerfully when she was done. Tempest usually doesn't like so many ponies in her personal space, but… maybe just a few more minutes. It's nice to have ponies cheering for you.

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! Here's to hoping 2019 is better than 2018 has been -it's a pretty low bar, so I'm hoping it won't trip over it and stumble into a ditch. Myself, I'm starting the new year by being sick, so it can only go up from here
