Yay another dump! These dumps are fun and a great way to get multiple concepts out there, so expect more of these! (Also let me know if I should do anything different, or even if you have suggestions of what characters/situations I should draw next!)
These two ponies (Dawn Dreamer the unicorn and Pinni Pie the earth pony) being friends has been canon since the beginning of the Dawnverse, and now I finally get to showcase just a few of their tidbits. This duo is part of a trio of friends between these two and Feather Dart; however, I will focus on that friendship on a later date.
For now, I present a few tidbits of the friendship on these pink gal pals!
————————————
1) Dawn and Pinni met at quite a young age: Pinkie Pie could not wait to show off her oldest daughter to her friends, and Princess Twilight Sparkle wanted to get the friendship ball rolling sooner rather than later. The two pink fillies hit it off well, both giggling as they played pretend tea parties and tag. Dawn also loved showing off her magic skills to her best pony friend who loved watching sparkles glitter in the air. Since these younger days, the two mares have been inseparable.
2) Although these two mares are P.F.Fs, they do have their larger differences. Pinni is a stubborn, messy mare who does not take sh*t from any pony and is not afraid to be frank with any pony about her disinterest or dislike. Meanwhile, Dawn is more patient, tidy, and organized than her pink friend, and would rather avoid confrontation through arguments, choosing to agree and remain quiet instead of cause a fight. Often, these opposite personalities tend to clash; however, these clashes are treated more as "lesson learning" situations rather than friendship ending. Plus, these differences seem to compliment each other which has saved these mares more often than not.
3) As with any pony, once Dawn and Pinni grew into adults they accepted responsibilities that sometimes kept the two friends apart. However, this has not stopped the two mares from getting together, especially for sleepovers! Since their fillyhood, Dawn and Pinni always made time for these sleepovers to do everything except sleep. From gossiping to sharing their deep secrets and fears, Dawn and Pinni used these sleepovers as a way to reconnect and be in each others lives no matter how far their responsibilities took them.
4) Every pony needs a shoulder to cry on once and a while, and Dawn and Pinni have been each other's shoulders as long as each mare could remember. When Pinni struggles to understand her place in her family, Dawn serves as a mare to talk and rant to, and when Dawn needs a break from her royal lessons, Pinni brings her delicious food and gave advice to help the pink princess. After Dawn's kidnapping as a young mare, Pinni served a special role as the princess's anchor: whether the princess needed some pony to ground her in reality after a panic attack or needed a pony to accompany her to the store, Pinni was, and still is, a comfort by her friend's side.
5) As young adult mares, Dawn and Pinni began on different paths in life. Dawn returned to the public as princess, while Pinni traveled the world to improve her culinary skills. Both mares experience new and exciting things and meet new and interesting ponies everyday that some ponies can only dream. Yet, despite who they may meet or what exciting event may happen, and despite their outwardly differences, at the end of the day Dawn and Pinni remain the closest P.F.Fs until the end of time.
