Another idea that wasn't thought up til later.
Rasta reunites with her Snowy, but finds out instead of a guy like she thought at first, Casey turns out to be female! Guess dressing in tiny tuxes and bowties confused her when she was 8.
Casey would be more Hippogriff, taking after his mother I imagine if he were a girl
