Chrysanthos winces at the look on Glider's face. "Okay, before you say anything…"

Glider raieses an eyebrow.

"I would just like to say that I didn't throw the first punch…..This time."

Glider shakes her head with a sigh. "You didn't have to throw any punches at all."

"Well, what was I supposed to do? Let him keep talking shit?" He questions, growing angry again at the thought of what happened earlier.

"No, you could've just walked away!"

"He desereved it, especially after he stomped on my wing! I'm lucky it's not completely broken." He turns his head and leans down to lick at the feathery appendage, and winces in pain. "Damn, I won't be able to fly for days." He looks at the ground, a hard glare on his face. "When I see him again, I'm gonna kick his ass."

"Uh, no you are not."

"Why?" He tilts his head up to look at her. "You worried I'm gonna hurt him. Too late for that, Blueberry."

"I could care less about that jackass." A look of worry appeared on her face. "I just don't won't you to get hurt again."

He snorts. "I'm not gonna get hurt."

"Chryssie, have you looked in a mirror? You have a black eye and a fucked up wing for Celestia's sake!" She rubs her temple with a hoof. "If you try to fight him again, you're just gonna piss him off even more, and he's probably going to break your other wing too!"

"I won't let him!"

She groans. "Sweet Celestia, you're an idiot!" She winces after she said that. "I'm sorry." She quietly mumbles, and lowers her head.

Chrysanthos closes his eyes, and takes in a deep breath. "No, you don't need to apologize." He tilts her head back up with his snout, and leans back to look at her. "I could actually care less if he talks crap about me, but I'm not going to stand there and just let him talk about you. I'm sorry for worrying you, but I had to do something."

Glider shakes her head. "No, you didn't." She says softly, a small smile appearing on her face. "I appreciate it, I really do, but you don't have to defend me all the time."

He shrugs. "I know, but I can't help it."

"Wow, you really are an idiot." She says with a chuckle. Then she leans towards his face, and places a light kiss on his cheek, causing a blush to appear on both of their faces.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way."
