Personality:

Onyx glow is the first child in Flashlight's family. Onyx is very similar to her mother, she is clever, witty and despite her age- very wise. She always seeks to learn something new and interesting for herself. She is not afraid of the changes in her life, and she always tries to find a way out of any zest situation.
Onyx is very obedient and always without any objections, did everything that her parents told her. She respects them very much and knows that they will not say or advise the bad.

Onyx is very serious about her role as a princess, however, she often has doubts that she is not good enough for this role and it can be said, she does not quite certainly understands her purpose as a ruler.

When Onyx was a small filly, even though she was born as pegasus, she was always attracted by magic and it's use. And so, from early childhood she began to read many books about magic and learn how each spell works. Since she did not have the opportunity to use her knowledge in practice, she began to teach and share her knowledge with her sister (Adelia)and other unicorns, and soon, when she became an adult, Twilight took her to her school so that she could help other unicorns comprehend the incredible world of magic.

Onyx is a very kind and sociable pony who easily goes with everyone to contact, however, when she needs it, she can be strict and demanding-in general she contains all makings of a good teacher and mentor. She tries to keep herself restrained and calm, but she has a fear of big bugs, what can lead her into a state of uncontrolled panic.


Relationships:
Onyx is very close to both her parents and especially to her mother — Twilight. Onyx and Twilight are very similar, and have many common interests, such as stripping learn and learning something new. Onyx and Flash are also close to each other, they have a warm relationship of father and daughter, he always helped her as a pegasus, taught to fly, taught and prompted that one should know the young flyer. He loves her and always in childhood called her " My little princess".

Onyx have a different relationships with each of her siblings. With Thunder Feather she has a very complicated relationship because they are completely different, she is calm, diligent and loves to learn, and her brother is her complete opposite. and because of this she thinks he is not a serious, big child who does not think about anything, but he thinks she's a bore who always indicates to everyone what to do. But despite all their differences, they still love and support each other. With her younger sister Adelia, even despite the fact that Adelia has not the easiest and most flexible character, they always had warm, sisterly relations, and always helped and supported each other.

She simply adores her older cousin Flurry Heart. Since childhood they were best friends and always could not wait to see each other again.. for Onyx, Flurry is an ideal example of how to be a princess and therefore she always tried to become the same as she.

Onyx and Perseus have very interesting relationships. He very often makes fun of her and often does something to annoy or embarrass her. But she has not taken offense for a long time already, she has known him since childhood, and therefore does not pay much attention to his jokes, on the contrary, answers them with jokes or sarcasm.

Because Twilight and Starlight were very close to each other, then their daughters also became friends with each other very quickly. Onyx and Twinkle Glare always united their common craving for the knowledge of magic. Although Onyx could not use it, but very much helped in this Twinkle.

Fan Facts:

* Onyx is a night owl, she likes to spend with books almost all night and at morning she usually sleep until midday;

* Besides English, Onyx also knows — Russian, Italian and German languages, and she speaks a little bit on French;

* She has a very big fear of various insects and bugs because she has an allergies to insect bites and therefore she cannot stand them.

* Onyx enjoys visit her Grandparents and read them books in order to relax and spend some time together;

* She also has stomach problems and therefore she is on a special diet(compiled, special for her by Kristella);

* She secretly gives the random names to the books that she reads ( some examples: Mr. Green or Miss Brown and etc.) Sometimes she even talk to them like to the living person;
