Wandering in the forest, Batty bumped into another pony. Odd, considering it was the middle of the night.

The one she bumped into giggled; "Whoops, watch where you're going little miss! Wouldn't wanna walk right into a poison joke patch right?"

Batty was initially irritated by the comment. "I'm probably way older than you, you… know?" When she pulled her face out of the chest-fluff she absentmindedly walked into, the natural glow her eyes gave off illuminated the face of a purple, horned mothpony grinning back at her. Now that was strange. She'd seen mothponies and bugponies, but not horned mothponies. Not only that, but she was at least as big as Tatzl. Mothponies were usually petite, so this was unprecedented. As she stood up on her hind legs to help herself see eye to eye with the mothpony, she couldn't help but ask: "…Sorry… what are you?"

The mothpony's eyes reflected the light naturally emitting from Batty's eyes. She grabbed one of the vampire's hooves in an affectionate gesture, holding it to her chest. "My name is Twilight Sparkler, princess of the east everfree and heir to the throne of Equestria! Do you want to be my friend?"

Batty's mouth hung open, completely baffled. She knew well enough that Queen Celestia had no children of her own, adopted or otherwise. Clearly, this poor soul was delusional. "…Sure, that sounds nice. My other friends have a little home just south of here; we'd love to have you over."

Definitely proud of this one. It always feels nice to be able to digitally paint a picture, although I hardly have the time.
