Maligayang Pasko! (Merry Christmas!)

It is now "Christmas Eve" in the Philippine Archipelago, and Pearl Shine with her beautiful and cute nieces is having an enjoyable time singing Christmas Carols to brighten up the holiday spirit.
Every eve of the 24th of December, churches around the country is celebrating the conclusion of the "Simbang Gabi" which is on this eve now called "Misa de Gallo" (Rooster's Mass), the last special mass before Christmas. It usually starts at around 10 o'clock in the evening and ends at Midnight of December 25.

After the mass, the faithful will go to their homes, to enjoy a traditional family dinner or feast called "Noche Buena" (literally "The Good Night" in Spanish), this is similar to "Thanksgiving Day" tradition celebrated by other countries. In every Filipino tables served many delicious foods like Roasted pig, Pancit, sweet-tasting spagetti, jamon, queso de bola, pan de sal, and others. Desserts like Bibingka, Fruit salad, ice cream. And beverages like Hot Chocolate, Wine, Soda, Fruit juices, and coffee is also served in this very special feast.

Christmas is really an awaited occasion by many Filipinos. and it will be much more special if you celebrate it with your friends and love ones.
