She's in the service of Queen Celestia, who vanished around the same day as demons began to arise in their world. As such, she's searching for her Queen, but suspects that the Queen's younger sister might have something to do with it. Like Rarity's Applejack, she a pragmatic but dedicated individual, never abandoning someone in need, but always looking at things from a realistic standpoint, thus making her the voice of reason on her team. She joins Rarity's group as they have a common goal, as Lavos might be connected to her Queen vanishing, but Applejack also stays with Rarity due to the similarities she has with her former teacher who died in battle three years ago.
