So this is an idea I had for a species of pony who are born and live in Tartarus. I mostly have the look down, but only a few scarce background details. Firstly, they have no loyalty to Equestria's ruling diarchy. Secondly, their ability to use magic is limited, but they have an innate mastery of a destructive element known as Balefire which is only found in Tartarus. Might be going across some canon with that statement, but I'll fix that if so. Balefire, as some of you may know, is the very same magical flame that was used to create the Balefire Bombs that destroyed Equestria. So if you're wondering what it looks like, there's some references out there. Also, when they're angry, their sclera takes over their cloudy white pupil and can paralyze one with fear if they're weak of mind. On the other hand, when happy their white pupils expand the entirety of their eyes and have a charming, calming effect. Those who practice can actually do this at will instead of just having to rely on emotion.

So far, that's what I have. I'd love some ideas or opinions in the comments. :)
