This commission was intended as a satire to poke fun of Twilight's tendency to attract crossover ships and referenced from this fanart.

I know this will inevitably bring in downvotes, but better for a commissioner to disclose firsthand and upload than some random, good-for-nothing anon.
-The scene conveniently occurs on a ship.
-Shadow (ShadTwi) is paired with Twilight because of me, FerrumFlos1st. I formalized the pairing in deviantart after reading a couple of fanfics and it spread to the internet, albeit minuscule compared to other crossover ships. Panned in derpibooru, much to my antipathy.
-Sonic (SonTwi) is there because fans were tired of Sondash (Sonic X Rainbow Dash). He is pushed aside by Shadow as part of their usual rivalry and a ship war I had started within the Sonic/MLP crossover fandom.
-Mordecai (MordeTwi) plays the role of Mr. Freeze by throwing away a picture frame of Margaret. I don't watch Regular Show, but the ship has a sizeable fanclub in DA.
-Spiderman (SpiderTwi) swings by, notices Wesker from MvC3, and shoots a web blast at him. I didn't read the fanfic, Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane, but I am aware of it thanks to derpibooru and some NSFW content.
-Wesker (no known portmanteau) dodges the shot by tilting his head and brings out his Samurai Edge handgun against the superhero. Not much of a ship, but a reference to the tease in a well-written discontinued fanfic, "My Little Wesker.
-Thomas the Tank Engine (no known portmanteau) is shocked from seeing how he is paired with Twilight and the incoming web projectile to his face. I do not know how or why this pairing exists. Something about a crossover with Winnie the Pooh?

Somehow, in the shadow of a new Sonic TV show and games, I managed to finish this puppy. When I figure out how I did that, I will be certain to let you all know. Frequent buyer FerrumFlos1st swung by and ordered up this piece. It is very much familiar to another popular picture of the same ilk, with the characters swapped and repurposed.

Speaking of characters, there are a lot of them. While I have varying levels of experience drawing Sonic, Shadow, Twilight Sparkle and Mordecai, this was my first chance to work on Spiderman, Wesker, Margaret and Thomas. Always interesting when you are slashing several characters off your own “never drawn” list I suppose. I am pleased with how they all came out. Each displays a nice combination of individuality and personality and the high resolution of my Next Lvl images really lets me get up close and show off just a touch. Be it unnecessary texture details of Spidey or Wesker, or all the etchings into the wood, I just get to do more with these images.

The background for this one is the side of a boat overlooking the ocean. The deck has been freshly swabbed and is quite shiny and reflective. To help give off that boat vibe I added in various mooring lines and ties along with a number of lamps. Gotta have that small touch of special effects right? Add in a healthy dosage of H2O and a nice starry backdrop and wham, you got yourself an image.

Next Lvl commissions are always labor intensive, but there is a certain joy and pride in putting out higher quality artwork. Thanks a bunch to FerrumFlos1st for ordering up this one, as always Me and my Bro appreciate the business.
