This is the last of the Sonic/MLP commissions I asked from BroDogz as he is not willing to place a DNP. It is also the last commission I will permit in this website. If you like Sonic/MLP crossovers, you will have to give me a watch in deviantart. I am not placing my recent, present, and future commissions in derpibooru.

The commission entails what would happen if Eggman were to set up a base for his evil lair, and provide a visual for my fanfic, Eggman Empire of Equestria. The Ancient Castle of the Royal Sisters is uninhabited; perfect for his plans of conquest. BroDogz is chosen because he knows more of Sonic lore, so he would know how Eggman would design the Castle to his liking. He chose it to be akin to the old SatAM. The hallway entrance from Sonic Adventure is there to replace the wooden bridge.

FerrumFlos1st and frequent flyer on the BroDogz Commission Express (patient pending) swung by and ordered up an environmental set piece for a change. I'm no stranger to drawing scenery as I have to fill out the backgrounds on a lot of my images, but it does feel a bit different when you don't have a character to pull attention.

Here we have the castle of the Two Sister's being renovated for Eggy's nefarious purposes. Since the scenery takes center stage here, it has to step up its game and tell more of a story. By having the Eggman architecture drawn within the MLP style, it clearly looks like this is happening within the MLP realm, rather than the Sonic one. I also really wanted to play up the pollution an Eggman facility creates, and i tried to do it in a very whimsical MLP style way, with swooping curves and swirls. The plants and vegetation is wilting and dying from all the toxins and even the suns usual vibrancy is diluted as it struggles to pierce the veil of smog. It all comes together into a nice image, and i think it shows exactly what is going on, even if you don't read this description.
