Phew. Finally. A version of Night Glider I'm proud of. In fact, it's the first piece I'm just proud of, period. I even signed it this time! First time ever.

I learned so much with this. I screwed up. I fixed. I re-screwed up. I re-fixed. And suddenly clouds! And a moon! And shading that I'm okay with! I made some discoveries. One of the watercolor brushes for clouds is PERFECT. Also, I figured out how to make the magic wand selector select what I wanted so I could do shading on Night Glider and not bleed all over the clouds. It made me realize my sketchy lines makes the selector choke… My guess is I'll eventually want to abandon the sketchy lines.

Also, I've been listening to the new Songs of Harmony official pony music album they released this morning. Oh my gosh, I'm in love with "You'll Play Your Part" and "True True Friend Winter Wrap-Up." I had them on repeat while working on this tonight.
