Personality:
Sterling is first Twilight`s daughter. She is very talanted in magic and all princesses call her " princess of magic"`cause they see, how fast growing up her magic talent. Sterling has a very opposite character: today you is her friend, but tomorrow she don`t wanna to talk with anypony. Often she sits in castle`s library and reads books. Sterling doesn`t wanna make friends, `cause she doesn`t see in this any meaning.
In magic Sterling is perfect. She knows a lot of spells, but she can`t use all of them. Sterling still tends to be better, and therefore often practiced in more difficult spells for her.
Sterling in ordinary life is completely different from her mother: she is completely unsociable and does not show any desire to meet and communicate with anypony. She is always in her thoughts and often does not hear her interlocutor, which pushes the pony away from her. Twilight always tries to change it, but it never worked.
Pony has great bravery. She is ready for any thing, just to get her way. Sterling will not allow herself to retreat just like that, knowing what awaits her at the end. The most interesting thing is that she does not show her emotions, so it is impossible to understand what she wants now.
The only thing that interests her is magic and only magic. She does not need anypony, she needs only the knowledge that she very quickly receives.

Relationships:

Sterling has a good relationship with Twilight, but, her mom often tell Sentry, what friendship is. Princess Twilight tries to show her daughter, how fonderful have a friend, but Sterling doesn`t listen her at that moment. Sometimes they learn magic together, and this make them happy.

Unicorn love her dad very much, but he often leaves the city, as he is the commander of the guard.

Nyx and Sterling are also opposite in characters, and this is very noticeable, because the little sister smiles much more often than the unicorn. Also pegasus is very active and Sterling the first, who`ll ask her stop it.

With Heartbeat Sterling has a bad relationships. She sees that Heart is jealous of her success in magic, and therefore there is a rivalry between them, in which Sterling always leads. Of course, they do not communicate.

Atlas is Stirling's only friend at the moment. They have known each other since Sterling was born, so she trusts him completely. Atlas, being a smoky dragon, cannot speak, but Sterling hears his thoughts, since there is a “trait” between them that allows them to communicate. Atlas often discourages Stirling from risky and bad deeds
