_Yup, the ponified EA is actually worse than actual EA
Inspired by Star Wars: Battlefront 2 lootbox and pay-2-win drama that probably impacted the whole gaming industry, I put the "pay to unlock" mechanic in comic to exaggeration, that makes the game literally unplayable (I mean it). Twilight just can't get into the game without paying.
The ponified game's brand name is both a reference to Fluttershy's "Yay" and my mispronunciation of EA (Games) when I was a kid.
