>Instead it comically slaps it's head on the platform and does a reverse slinky motion to get on top.

>It suddenly whips it's head back and slams it against one of the posts holding the bell up.

>The posts snap like twigs.
>Taku drops her katana as her jaw drops.
>The bell falls and rolls off the platform.
>The creature flops off and follows the bell.
>It then proceeds to bite the lip of the bell and lift it off the ground.
>Once again it does a reverse slinky with bell in mouth to get back on the platform.
>This would be funny had the creature not just destroyed thick wooden poles with it's face and lift a solid metal bell off the ground with it's mouth.
>You find it hard to believe at point you thought these things died to simple trip wires.
>It maneuvers the bell around in it's mouth before raising it up.
>It suddenly slams the bell into the platform upside down.
>It then flops off the platform once more and walks down the street.
>"D-did we do it?" Wallflower asks.
>Nobody knows.
>You step up onto the platform.
>You look into the bell.
>Nope
>No portal to normalcy.
>"Now what?" Asks Cipher.
>You look towards the road the creature went down.
>It's long gone.
>"You don't think it went to get reinforcements do you?" Home Sick asks.
>You hadn't considered that.
>"No…" Starts Paradise.
>"It was happy… Happy that we killed the others…"
>"What's it doing then?" Home Sick asks.

>Eventually you all agree to wait.

>The creature returned.
>No reinforcements fortunately.
>It runs past you and into the alley you lead them down before.
>It then comes out from where they chased Home Sick a while later.
>Finally it approaches the corpse.
>It twists it's form to lower it's head onto the ground while raising the body above it's head.
>From the corpse drops crumbs and ash into the creatures mouth.
>The fuck?
>It then writhes around a bit before regurgitating a clay blob.
>There is already a shape pressed into the clay blob.
>The creature once again flops onto the pedestal.
>It then stares at the bell which begins to glow red hot.
>That explains a bit.
>You look into the bell turned crucible.
>The bell clapper is melting.
