A Patreon patron reward for DocSpit. The mare's name is Iris and she's a synthpony from the Institute of the Fallout 4 universe.

Designing firearms for beings with no hands is an interesting challenge. For this particular design I used modification and refined version of the thumb trigger that has been explored and used in the real world. Winchester 1902 Rifle.

Also designing the stock took some thinking. For this design I imagined a laminated wood design. It would be something that Fallout world could make and would give the stock the necessary rigidity and strength. It would also possess a fair degree resistance to warping from moisture and changes in temperature.
