I was so excited to post this next gen today since I made the Lyra and Bon Bon headcanons, so here we go!

Shutterbug, also known as Bug or Buggy, took a lot of time and planning to come into existence. Preferring not to go the magical route (since such things can be too expensive), the couple decided to instead find a sperm donor. Bon Bon agreed to carry the child, and the two are perfectly content not knowing who the donor really is.

Bug is absolutely spoiled rotten by Lyra, who struggles to say no whenever her kid wants to try something new or have a second helping of dinner. Shutterbug was always supported by her parents to try whatever interested her whether it be playing an instrument, athletics, or art. This is actually how Bug got their cutie mark at such a young age. She was allowed to experiment and learned that she absolutely adored photography, specifically illusion photography. Shutterbug is super creative, just like her mother Lyra (and unknowingly, her biological father). They also tend to be a bit of a foodie and is chunkier than the average pony of the same height, but always jokes that there's just more of her to love. Buggy is also openly genderfluid and goes by all pronouns!
