When Beatz met Nathan and began falling for him, she was lost. She was just a speck in his life. He, being in a boy-band, had a lot of fans and friends. She was just an outsider who came from vicious creatures. Their friendship was okay but Beatz felt like she was being let go for not being the perfect pony; and not some creature who thrives on blood. After months of hiding those feelings, she considered letting go of her pack and family just to be the perfect one for him. She didn't know how he felt towards her, and she certainly didn't notice his eyes sparkle whenever he sees her. She took off her earrings that tethered her to her pack. But the feeling of being imperfect and lost was only stronger.
