Day 22: Draw a pony in an artist’s style that inspires you / Draw a pony fanboying/fangirling
Ever since I've started drawing ponies I've been inspired by bobthedalek's work. His art style is so visually pleasing and he puts his characters in such goofy scenarios, I feel like I'm opening the Sunday comics every time I look at his posts :) Looking at his work has helped me develop my art style and convey the point without yelling it out.
Another huge inspiration of mine has to be Gary Larson. If you are unfamiliar with him, I was too. He wrote the one panel comic strip "The Far Side" which ran from 1980-1995. It's so delightful to read because there's only a choice few who write legendary comics (Such as Bill Watterson "Calvin and Hobbes" and George Herriman "Krazy Kat") Gary Larson takes you on a weird and silly ride to a world where rules about what's "right" don't exist.
Honestly all my friends, watchers, and supporters help me so much and inspire me every day. The feedback you give is awesome and I can't believe how creative you can get with your comments :D
Thank you so much :D
