But what Pinkie's planning is for another story, because this arc of Swarm of the Century / A Bird in the Hoof / A Dog and Pony Show is at an end.

Starting this Saturday, and continuing on through September and October, will be a run of guest comics provided by fellow readers. It's an impressive set this time around, full of references, crossovers, mini-arcs, parodies, cuteness, and much, much more. Regular comics will resume on October 31st.

And when we do return, we'll be starting up again with Feeling Pinkie Keen.

DM: You make it back to Ponyville safely. Aaaand I think that’s where we’ll call it for tonight.
Twilight Sparkle: <yaaawn> Wow, it’s late.
DM: You’re telling me. Alright, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Good news: Between the parasprites, Philomena, the Diamond Dogs, and your friendship lessons, you’ve earned enough XP to level up and then some.
Rainbow Dash: YYYYES!
DM: But it’ll have to wait. The bad news is that we won’t be getting together next week.
Pinkie Pie: Whaaaat? Why not?
DM: Well, I think I need some time off to make new plans and rethink how I’m running this game. But besides that, a couple of us have conflicts that week.
Rarity: It’s true. I will be heading out of town and won’t be back until the week after.
Rainbow Dash: Ah, shoot. I totally forgot about D&D Camp. Yeah, I can’t make it either.
Fluttershy: I guess this is best, then.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh… Okay…
Applejack: Them’s the breaks.
Pinkie Pie: Hey, hey, hey, hey, HEY! The REST of us are free that week, RIGHT?!
DM: It seems so…
Pinkie Pie: Then we should TOTALLY do a game at MY place! Like an inbetweener!
DM: But, uh… Who’d be the DM that week?
Pinkie Pie: Isn’t it obvious? ME!
Twilight Sparkle: Wait, you can do that?
Rarity: It’s not uncommon to have a guest DM for one session.
Rainbow Dash: Even I guested once. …That game got written off as non-canon, but still.
Applejack: Good times.
DM: Well, I’ll want to double-check your plan to make sure it won’t, y’know, break the setting… But other than that, I’m open to the idea. What do the rest of you think?

Applejack: Heck with it. Sure, why not?
Fluttershy: Sounds like a lot of fun, actually.
Twilight Sparkle: Let’s give it a shot.
Pinkie Pie: Alright! I’ve got so many ideas for next week, I don’t even know where to start! This is gonna be the best session EVER!
