Anubis is the son of Chrysalis and Tirek and belongs to the same universe as Pensethilia

He is an emo bad boy and actually evil. Too bad he has a love struck draconequus on his heels, on that manages to unintentionally destroys his evil schemes. He and Pensethylia met during the grand galloping gala. He was disguised as a handsome stallion and tried to woo her. What he did not expect however was for the princess to smack him across the face followed by the words "who in the actual fuck are you? Get lost rich boy". Because of the literal slap across the face Anubis changed back to his real form. When he opened his eyes he saw said princess looking back at his form with an awestruck expression….
"Where have you been all my life you handsome beast"
This was the beginning of something really good or something really really bad…..

Anubis is a cynical, cunning and diplomatic guy with a knack for the dramatic. He has inherited his mother's shape shifting abilities along with some of her mind control powers. He also has Tirek's ability to absorb magic from other beings combined with Chrysalis's love absorbing power. It is kind of combination of these two skills and thus he can't absorb as much magic like Tirek or as much love like chrysalis at once.
His peculiar hooves/toes allow him to somewhat be able to climb on walls though he ain't very good at it.

You know, if it wasn't for that meddling draconequus princess and her bizarre crush on him maybe he would be able to make some progress on conquering at least some part of equestria. He claims he hates every fiber on her being and that he just wants her gone but maybe there is an extremely tiny little part of him that secretly likes her presence
