Rarity looked down at the Friendship Map with confusion. Her Cutie Mark floated around Canterlot along with a set of three others that she knew very well. She understood why she might be needed in Canterlot, but why them, too?
It was at that moment that the CMC's burst into the room, laughing and talking to each other as they ran over to the Map.
"Rarity!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed when she noticed her sister standing there, dumbstruck. "You've been called, too? This is great!"
"I suppose," Rarity began, "Though I'm not quite sure why you three were called. I mean, your first — and only — mission was just under two months ago! Nopony has ever been recalled this quickly before!"
"Well, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure it's because only we can solve this problem." Apple Bloom said, high-hoofing Scootaloo.
"I know that! It's just… I don't really know how to say it."
"Well, don't, then!" Scootaloo said, but Rarity continued anyway:
"I guess I'm still not fully accepting that you three can be called. It just… Feels so unreal!"
Sweetie Belle nodded, understanding what she meant. "We're not just silly little kids any more! We're growing up! Heck, I've grown about an inch in the last month!"
"Well, I suppose, when you put it that way…" She took a breath. "Come on, let's get to Canterlot!"
With that, Rarity led the three out the door.
