Hope you don't mind the deluge of Story Time prompts. Something crappy always seems to be happening IRL when I go to do the uploads, and Story Time is my backup when I can't think of anything interesting to say.

Any stories about circumstantial bonuses awarded by the DM for weird, unusual reasons?

DM: So… the security guards are closing in.
Applejack: Ah figure we'll let them break it up when they get here. We got the point across.
Pinkie Pie: Awww! But it's only been two rounds!
Twilight Sparkle: I just want to point out again that I did not join in… Because Celestia is still across the way from us…
Fluttershy: I was on the fence, but it looked like Applejack and Pinkie Pie had it under control.
DM: Anyway, the Buccaneer Blaze went off correctly, so Rainbow's set ends with a strong finish that pleases the crowd.
Rainbow Dash: What? I thought that last roll was too low again.
DM: Not quite… The bullies couldn't give you a penalty, and I gave you the maximum cheer bonus. I figured having your friends fight your childhood enemies on your behalf is about as encouraging as it gets for Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash: Heh heh! Yeah, that's awesome. Thanks, everyone.
