Newbiespud contacted me about doing custom art for his comic right after I finished the original run of Star Mares. I was asked to create faux screenshots to allow for the big boss fight that is unaccountably absent from the actual episode, but received very little direction apart from that. Consequently, I may have gone a little bit overboard 🙂

This sequence wasn't part of the original request — I threw it together quickly as a model test to make sure my versions of the characters were close enough to pass muster (although apparently I do the noses wrong… I don't see it myself, but I defer to expert nitpickers). Consequently the background was thrown together out of pieces I already had, so the columns are actually from Cloudsdale and the wall sconces (and later on, the lamp posts) are the ones I borrowed from Star Wars: The Old Republic.

If anyone would like any of the individual shots, let me know — otherwise I'll just keep doing the whole page's worth as they're released.
