I couldn't resist. I was weak. Trying to explain it or merely allude to it in the page itself just made the impact so much weaker. And I know that this joke is gonna just confuse quite a few people before they ask for an explanation in the comments or look it up or check the transcript… but sometimes, you gotta make yourself and only yourself laugh.

Transcript:

DM: The day's classes roll on, and until night falls there's not a lot of time for investigation. Of course, all the professors are gone, and a student is running the school. Sandbar, as an assistant, your job has been mainly breaking out the board games and film reels so that half the classes are stress-free goof-off periods. They've all been very well received.
Sandbar (AJ): No surprise there.
DM: Whereas Cozy Glow has somehow been working even harder. Everypony seems to have something nice to say about her.
Unicorn Student: Cozy Glow baked our class cupcakes today!!
Earth Pony Student: And she made all of us friendship bracelets!!
Pegasus Student: She's the nicest pony I've ever met. I'm SO glad she's Headmare! Well, temporary Headmare, anyway.
Unicorn Student: Hey, if Starlight takes her time coming back, I won't mind!
Sandbar (AJ): Aren't any of you worried this seems a little… transactional? Like, she's going to ask us all to "repay the favor" sometime down the line?
Unicorn Student: Pffft, like, what is she even going to do? Declare herself the Empress of Being Nice?
Students: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
