Or as I like to put it: Grogar Satan Mode!

First off, i'd like to point out a simple fact about this piece: I largely based it off an epic artpiece made by my friend MelSpyRose who also developed a demonic final form for Grogar. the thing which you can find right here, in fact: Demon Grogar. She was a very big source of inspiration for this picture, and with Season 9's intro to Grogar, I wanted to make an epic piece based on him. I used the picture she created as a reference model, or base, or whatever the term is. Yes, I borrowed elements from the four-legged version, but lay no claim to them. It was basically a matter of not fixing what isn't broken. The posture, and base appearance of that Grogar was perfect, so I tried to emulate the appearance to the core, with adjustments made to keep from looking like a complete rip-off. Mel, if you see and read this, then I hope you're alright with me basing this artpiece on one of yours. I make no efforts to rip off anyone, or copy anyone. The centaurian design is nothing but a base, and the original remains yours.

As for Grogar…..let's just say he now has a more satanic appeal than he ever did before. Using the essence of Darkness itself, and reclaiming his original bell, he has ascended to an incredible form of power that even the mane six cannot contend with: a Baphomet on the same level as a fallen Archangel. As a matter of fact, his appearance is mainly based on Lucifer himself from Dante's Inferno, both game and movie. The classic half-goat appearance is forever Lucifer's trademark when in his true form, but I enjoyed the branch-like appearance of his horns in both versions, as well as the glowing glyphs on his body. It's as if he were born of The Tree of Life, but his fall from grace made him into a shaded, hollow, burned out version of himself that mocks the source of his sacred birthplace. I wanted to add those branch-like horns to Grogar's final form, and made my own glyphs to cover him with. The four on his pecs are actually the glyphs on his bell harness in the season premiere he debuted in. When he became this demonic force, those charms melded into his body, and became an addition to his accursed power. All in all, he has now become an unrelenting champion of evil.

An Avatar of Darkness, if you will. And only the power of Light itself can repel and keep the Darkness at bay. Perhaps it requires Six NEW Lights of different cultures, and races, but with hearts of true harmony, and friendship to end this evil which threatens Equestria.
