'tis been nearly a week since the last 3 episodes have aired (i watched the leaks on the website i usually watch cartoons on) & has been 9 years since MLP:FiM 1st aired, altho i didn't get into it till early 2013 when Season 3 was still going but that's for another time.

now Twilight is now ruler of Equestria & Celly & Lulu have retired. i fancied doing a pic of the 2 sisters sharing a 9 Year cake for the 1st time not being princesses

truth time: this was really done for Derpibooru's 9 year art event celebration where we have to draw characters reaching their goals. this isn't technically reaching their goals but i asked on a thread if celebrating 9 years & a mod said yes ("i guess") & this was originally what i had in mind before i read the rules properly & was debating with myself whether to draw something else (nothing else came to mind) or just carry on with this so i just did this.

just because the show's now over doesn't mean i intend to stop drawing ponies. as long as i have ideas popping in my mind, i will draw them however & whenever i can.
