Crescent trotted through the castle trying to find her mother. "Mom! Mooom! Who was that at the door?"

"Crescent!" sompony shouted, squeezing Crescent into a hug.

Crescent flinched as she realized who the pony was. Her brother. Midnight Shade.

"Oh. you." Crescent groaned.

"I haven't seen you in so long! And you finally got rid of the freaky eyes! And the armor we never use!" Shade said, squeezing Crescent's cheeks.

"Let go of me, you c-"

"Right, right, sorry, I forget you're.. you. How have you been?"

"What're you doing here?"

"Well since you apparently got kicked out of the-"

"I didn't get kicked out. I was going to leave anyway to get away from that brat."

Twilight opened the door into the room and laid a hoof on Shade's shoulder.

"She's been fine."

Hey Crescent has a brother now! I know down there it says Midnight Shade, and I've been just using 'Shade'. I prefer for him to go by that instead of Midnight. As you can tell, Shade acts much more "happy" than Crescent. I don't have a full backstory planned for him yet, but I will eventually.
