Luna seems to have a thing for adopting cute little orphans. She adopted Night Mist into her growing little "Herd of the Night". She couldn't help it, he was too adorable. She also wanted to keep not-so-noble members of nobility from using the fact that he was a Bat Pony Alicorn to their advantage, already being mother to another adopted bat pony.

Pterus is meeting Night Mist for the first time, and is surprised at how there's a bat pony smaller than him. Course, that's what happens when you get a baby brother. Well, at least he wouldn't be the only Bat Pony in the family anymore. Little Night Mist is eager to play with his older sibling, reaching out to try and boop Pterus's nose. Luna couldn't help but daw at the cute scene.

(This is not actually part of Silfoe's alternate universe for Pterus. This is a commission she agreed to make for me, and I am thankful she agreed. I just thought a foal version of my OC interacting with Pterus and Luna would be cute. She's allowed me to post this here. Thank you Silfoe.)
