About the illustration:
I was very happy to work on this. I had the idea in my mind from the start, but it was increadibly tough to get it out of my head. You know how brain works… This was also the first time I used 3D for my art. I made lots of angles and painted over several variants to see how it goes. <= you can see it here.
And still I'm not totally sure I managed to caught that picture from imagination, but I followed with the stream polishing the art, but never forgetting about main feelings in this particular art: weight of colomns crushing onto you as another reminder how old this castle is, how long will it last, for all of eternity? And what is your destiny in this life? She… is… not alone in this corridor of shadows, as mighty as any colomn here, one of the pillars of Celestia's rule, one-mare-court, the most important pony in Canterlot.
