Maybe it's because magic is hard. Maybe it's the creeping suspicion that Twilight is trolling her and just making up nonsense terminology.
Or maybe it's because that thing is clearly a heptagram used for summoning demons, complete with the symbols of the Archdemons Charyptoroth, Lolgramoth, Amazeroth, Belshirash, Asfaloth, Agrimoth and Blakharaz.

I wanted to do a triacosiahexacontapentagram for the magical symbol first, but… yea, let's not do that.
