The Aurora Borealis form when charged particles emitted from the sun penetrate the earth's magnetic shield and collide with atoms and molecules in our atmosphere. These collisions result in countless little bursts of light, called photons, which make up the Aurora.
What better icon for an Aurora than a Solar Windigo! I wanted to keep the blue tone to give an idea of cold and hot mixing together. It's still a work in progress, but I'm starting to like it the more I work at it!
