Happy Thanksgiving to those in America and to those who celebrate it! :D

The warm, vibrant leaves on the trees give way to the wind and the greenish grassy ground. In the midst of the forest lies the cabin from last year's Christmas party. The Mane 6 and Spike have their annual Thanksgiving feast outdoors in the cool, sunny autumn weather. Pasta, rice, salads, and hayburgers serve the main course, while cupcakes, donuts, and pies are to be served for dessert after the ponies are finished. In this shot, Pinkie and Applejack sit next to each other, standing beside the varieties of food present on the rather large table. Pinkie, being her silly and goofy self, can't wait to try out the meals, and AJ, watching Pinkie practically drool over the plates and especially the cupcakes, can only grin at Pinkie over how happy she can be. :P

This artwork render took me about 7 hours, 33 minutes, and 21.12 seconds to render on an eight-core CPU at 1024 samples with the default denoiser on Blender 2.80. The render contains 1,026,353 vertices, 741,352 faces, 300,000 strands for the mane, 80,000 grass strands. Sadly, due to issues with the OpenCL driver that happened with the latest Windows update, I was unable to use my GPU as merely looking at the dropdown menu for the render device crashes Blender immediately. For this reason, this project was made in Blender 2.80 despite 2.81 having been released over a week ago. Yesterday, I've managed to update the drivers and the operating system to something Blender can use without crashing so hopefully, it will be a lot better than it was before.

The pony base models used were created or modified by: kp-shadowsquirrel, poninnahka, juicedane, aeridiccore. Shader materials and hair particles were done by me afterwards for use in Blender's Eevee and Cycles engines.
All textures used in this artwork are from textures.com (formerly CGTextures), Poliigon, HDRI Haven, included with each pony model, or handmade by me using procedural textures.

Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Spike are created by Lauren Faust and owned by Hasbro Inc. for use in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
