Jewelpet Dian vs Discord.

Thousands of years ago, these two major magical antagonists plunged their respective worlds into chaos before being defeated by said worlds' empresses and frozen while posing dramatically. Both can turn characters to the opposite of their respective virtues. Eventually, they turn characters to stone. And finally, both characters are good after their debut seasons (Dian, however, is generally kinder and more heroic, even as a villain).

My money's on Dian. Discord lacks combat experience and skill due to generally avoiding combat, while Dian relishes combat and is both strong and skilled (enough to accurately hit normal-sized Jewelpets with his fists while giant as well as defeat the Four Great Magicians all by himself). Base Dian alone scales to Diana who can survive explosions big enough to be seen from space as opposed to the measly town-covering Elements of Harmony, and his magic can cover entire towns in a few seconds. Dian can easily dodge punches, but Discord doesn't even bother dodging the Rainbow of Friendship from the Elements. Since Discord has no prior knowledge on Jewelpets, Dian's eye telekinesis and curses can easily catch him off guard. Even in his base form, Dian only needs to land one hit with his petrification ray followed by one more with his explosive laser to end the fight (the Elements "only" had the exact same effect on Discord as the petrification ray). Dian's virtue is Self-Control, so take that away through corruption and he will surrender control of his body to his Dark Magic, becoming the more monstrous Dark Dian. And last but not least is how each of them deals with a giant EoH-type focused laser: Discord is petrified with no hope of saving himself (he can snap away Sombra's lasers but not the Elements' one), while Dark Dian is able to resist the laser for a while by countering it with his own. The laser that defeated Dark Dian was formed when the other Jewelpets combined their magic, and one of the Jewelpets involved, Labra, has universal magic.

May this match-up start DB Season 7 with a bang AND lead to Jewelpet Season 8.
