Personally, I love Snips. He's just very cute, even if he's not very bright.

Nineteen year old Snips is one of those ponies who looks much older than they really are. Without the facial hair he appears teen-like, but normally he looks like he's thirty.
He gained a lot of height and muscle when the war broke out. Even though he wanted to become a barber, he put that aside and helped the CMC with their work in helping out Ponyville and few other neighboring towns.
Along with hair cuts he also learned to sew, knit, sharpen swords, and suture a little. And no matter what, he and Snails were inseparable.
