And with that, we are back!

So, here’s a friendly note from the author:
Thanks everyone for reading up to this point. The release today is significant in that it marks a return to the main plot. Amazingly enough, the main plot has only been touched on for three pages total since we last left it (when Tempest escaped Rebus Hunter, the detective dogging her until she teleports beyond his considerable range). That page was posted almost a year ago on January 6 of this year…

All I can say is I’m sorry! Between the side plot of the pie fight (which in hindsight was simply unnecessary, but was created as part of the story very early into the development of this) and the flashbacks, you all are probably sick of me pussy-footing around and want to just get on with it. So that’s what we’re going to do. Things will get much more interesting from here on out.

I do admit there is one more major flashback, but it is a terrific scene which explains exactly why Tempest is still alive after such a long time… You will enjoy, I promise. And now, a word about our tragic protagonist:

As you all have ascertained by now, Tempest is proceeding from some false presumptions, incomplete information, and incorrect perceptions. But don’t we all fall into this trap from time to time? Too often we believe what we are told, make snap judgements and decisions based on imperfect information at best, or at worst purposefully mischaracterized information that was given to us in a deliberate attempt to either manipulate us or to get us to think or believe in a certain way. We all fall short in our thinking and can sometimes create great harm proceeding from a misinformed perception. The take home message here is that sometimes we all need to take a step back and look to see if we are being misled for nefarious reasons… You may be surprised to find that there is much more about us that unites us than divides us. It’s a lesson Tempest should certainly take to heart, because if she doesn’t, great harm might come about.

Next release… AoS 5.1…
