Spike is somewhat of a materialistic businessman. He's still, and always will be, a good guy, but his dragon greed gets the better of him eventually and he gets into financial business. He got Sweet Apple off the ground and made it a nationwide cooperation. He's got a way of persuading ponies with his teeth and fire.
