Or more specifically, the story of how the beings known as Laurana, and Grogar fell deeply in love with each other as they learn of their own heritage of omnipotence, and power. How they are so far the only remainders of their kind. Making them two of a kind who have their love to hold onto and ground them to reason, and purpose. Only for that love to be turned against them by their own hubris. They make many mistakes, and at first neither admit to it. But when one finally understans exactly what the depths of their interference reach towards, she has no choice to oppose the one she dearly loved. At first not with violence, or harm, but by appealing to said love to convince Grogar to relent when the mortals on their world of Equestria do something………unspeakable, and wrong. But they are Bahamut. They are the Elder Gods who embody Creation, Life, and Light, and also Destruction, Death, and Destruction. The two generations of equine mortals made the biggest mistakes of their lives.
But Elder Gods make no mistakes.
She had no idea just how deeply his love for her had been effected when she had been assailed by her own children. Now, it threatened to turn him into Djinn, the devils of the Bahamut race. And this will lead to her making the biggest mistake of her life: forging the third generation of equestria without Darkness' influence to counterbalance her. And when she slips up, and reveals her actions to him, he can onlly feel one thing towards her: betrayal. She betrayed everything they had worked together to accomplish, and even betrayed the balance itself by giving life to a world made only of Light. There could be no reasoning with him now……..especally when she made it all too clear she cared more for her flawed creations than she did her own mate, her own husband. Her love had proven to not be unconditional, and it had broken his heart.
Now, as the world of the Third Generation burns, and hordes of unholy monsters ravage the land, Grogar finally begins to surrender to his anger, and hate. Only now, it would be stronger because of Laurana's betrayal. And when she cast him out with all her strength, it ensured that their eternal fate had been sealed. Grogar had corrupted his purpose, and so too himself. He had killed out of prejudice, and previous misgivings. He refused to acknowledge that he may have been wrong to do waht he did. And he now only wanted to make both Laurana and her Equine children pay for scorning him. For damaging the balance they had long sworn to protect. He was now an engine of anger, and hate. An engine of burning destruction who would bring cataclysm to the world of Equestia until nothing remained, and their essence belonged to him for all time.
Grogar had become Djinn, and the Emperor of Darkness, and All-Father of Monsters.
Now the question remains on if Laurana will have the strength needed to protect Equestria as it rebuilds itself? Can the ponies of this new world defend themselves against an evil born of murdered love? Or will equestria once more succumb to Destruction, Death, and Darkness? These were questions noone had the answer to. But in the end it wasn't all important, because one thing was for sure.
The true tragedy lay in how such long lived, starcrossed lovers could succumb to a curse of hatred spanning since the time before time, as two polar opposites now struggling for control, and dominance.
Another war of Light, and Darkess
Of Harmony, and Anarchy.
